Lumen Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Lumen, a daily planner app published by Halcytron (SAS). They add to the general Halcytron Terms of Service; if there is a conflict for Lumen, these terms apply. By using Lumen, you agree to them.

Your licence

Halcytron grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Lumen on devices you own or control, for your own use.

Accounts

Lumen creates an anonymous account automatically. You may optionally sign in with Apple or Google to secure and sync your data. You are responsible for keeping access to that sign-in method and your account secure.

Your content

Your planning data is yours. You grant Halcytron only the limited rights needed to store, sync, and process it in order to provide the app's features (including the AI features below). We do not sell your content.

AI features

Lumen offers AI-assisted features (such as the morning briefing and organize). To provide them, your relevant content is processed by a third-party AI provider. AI output may be inaccurate or incompleteand is not professional advice, so use your own judgement and don't rely on it for important decisions.

Acceptable use

• Don't misuse, overload, or attempt to break the service.
• Don't use Lumen for unlawful purposes.
• Don't reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the app except as permitted by law.

Purchases & subscriptions

Premium features are sold and billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play and managed via RevenueCat. Payment is charged to your store account at confirmation of purchase.

Auto-renewing subscriptions. A subscription automatically renews at the then-current price for the same period unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your store account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings; cancelling stops future renewals and keeps access until the end of the paid period.

Lifetime access.A "lifetime" purchase grants access to Lumen's premium features for the operational lifetime of the Lumen service — it is tied to the life of the product, not to your own lifetime. If we discontinue Lumen, lifetime access ends with it, and, to the fullest extent permitted by law, that discontinuation does not entitle you to a refund of a lifetime purchase.

Refunds otherwise follow the policies of the App Store or Google Play. None of the above limits the mandatory consumer-protection rights of your country of residence.

Availability & warranty

Lumen is provided "as is". We work to keep it reliable but cannot guarantee it will always be available, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Halcytron is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Termination

You can stop using Lumen and delete your account at any time from within the app. We may suspend access in case of serious misuse.

Governing law

These terms are governed by French law, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence.
